Fourth-year Preservice Teachers are invited

  • College News

Fourth-year Preservice Christian Teachers are invited to apply for a Special Authority to teach at our College.

Emmaus Christian College is inviting Fourth-year Preservice teachers to partner with us to apply for a Special Authority to teach through the Teachers Registration Board (TRB).

This new TRB policy gives suitable applicants a special authority to teach in South Australian schools for Term 2, 2022, with the aim of addressing teacher shortages caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are seeking expressions of interest from committed Christians who are in their final year of a four-year undergraduate program from a South Australian tertiary institution.

*It is important to note, this TRB policy only applies to preservice teachers who are specifically undertaking a 4-year undergraduate program from a South Australian tertiary institution. Unfortunately, preservice teachers from Masters programs are not included in this Special Authority to teach.

Applicant Information Session

We invite prospective applicants to come along to the information session to find out more about the eligibility requirements and application process.
Suitable applicants will hear how they can partner with Emmaus to receive an endorsement from the College and to finalise their applications for TRB approval.

Once approved, suitable applicants can work as Temporary Relief Teacher (TRT) at Emmaus Christian College in Term 2.

Join us at South Plympton Campus on Tuesday, 14 June, 4:00pm – 5:00pm.

Please RSVP to seniorpa@emmauscc.sa.edu.au
