Year 9's 'rough out' for homelessness

On Friday 2 August, the Year 9 Rite Journey students spent a cold night sleeping 'rough' at the Westcare Centre in the city, getting a little taste of a less comfortable life.

They learned a lot about issues related to homelessness in Adelaide and the heart of God for all people, especially those in need. We teachers were so pleased to see the students endure and engage with the whole program.

We are deeply thankful for the generosity of family and friends who have given to the fundraising effort (over $13,400 so far!), all of which goes directly to this valuable service to people experiencing homelessness.
