The Year 6 Students' unforgettable trip to Kangaroo Island

Our Brooklyn Park Year 6 students recently returned from an unforgettable camp on Kangaroo Island, where they embraced the great outdoors in partnership with Beyond the Classroom, specialists in outdoor education. The camp was designed to help students build life skills through hands-on experiences that encouraged growth, exploration, and connection with nature.

Highlights of the trip included sandboarding at Little Sahara, up-close encounters with sea lions at Seal Bay and fur seals at Flinders Chase National Park, an exciting Ocean Safari boat cruise, Raptor Domain and interactive wildlife sessions. The adventure continued with games, team-building activities, and of course, the excitement of a ferry ride 'overseas'!
