A Free Cyber Safety Parent Information Session

Emmaus Christian College presents Susan McLean, one of Australia’s leading experts on Cyber Safety and young people. As the first Victorian Police Officer appointed to a position involving cyber safety and young people, Susan has a wealth of experience and is highly qualified in this area. Susan has completed extensive study and research and is an experienced presenter in equipping and informing parents on the topics of cyber safety.

An educational and empowering session for parents and carers, Susan’s unparalleled knowledge leaves audiences shocked at the reality of the online world. It is a wakeup call to even the most switched-on parent and is delivered with Susan's famous 'no nonsense' approach. The session will cover the positive benefits of technology as well as what parents need to be aware of. Susan will address topics such as cyberbullying, potential dangers and safety tips, problematic internet use and gaming issues, online grooming, understanding what young people are doing online and more.

This event is open to parents/guardians of all Emmaus Christian College students across both our South Plympton and Brooklyn Park Campuses.

Seats are limited in our EPAC so please book early. Tickets are limited to two per family.
