Emmaus Christian College's Vocational Education Training (VET) Program offers senior students the opportunity to enhance their future career options by studying a nationally recognised qualification whilst completing their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are nationally accredited qualifications. Completing a VET qualification provides increased opportunities for students to connect with industry, ensuring that the focus and content of training are relevant and that skills are developed to industry standards. Industry experience forms part of VET courses enabling students to be employment ready, through the Workplace Learning context of courses. VET completion can count towards the SACE and, in certain cases, the calculation of an ATAR.

A VET pathway is designed to accommodate students who have a vocational focus. It is particularly suited to students who enjoy a hands-on approach to their learning and is a valuable choice for students interested in apprenticeship or traineeship opportunities. For example, a student looking to be an Electrician could study a Certificate II in Electrotechnology and, on completion, be apprenticeship-ready.

Participation in a VET program may involve additional costs, including tuition fees and other incidental expenses, which vary depending on the qualification and training provider.

There are many VET courses available, including the industries below:
