Think Challenge Champions

Emmaus students are ‘Think Challenge’ Champions! Congratulations to the 17 Year 9 and 10 Students who competed in the annual Academic ‘Think Challenge’ on Tuesday. Emmaus students competed against 12 teams from Christian schools from the Adelaide and Mid-North regions at Temple Christian College Paralowie. The Emmaus Team 1 came 1st in the History and Politics and in Poetry and Art. The Emmaus Team 2 won the English round and achieved high scores across all of the nine subject to become the Think Challenge Champions!

These talented students have worked hard for since Term 4 last year, practising weekly during lunch breaks; improving on their general knowledge through using Geography programs (such as Seterra) and collaborating on complex Maths and Science problems.

The Think Challenge was initiated and organised by the Gifted and Talented Teachers at Temple College Paralowie who had a vision for an academic Christian interschool competition. This is the third annual Christian school competition.
