Piera Wins Debater of the Year Award

We are thrilled to announce that Piera, Year 5 Brooklyn Park student has been awarded the prestigious title of "Debater of the Year" in the Year 5 division. This remarkable achievement is a testament to Piera's dedication, eloquence, and exemplary debating skills.

The Debater of the Year Awards are highly competitive and are designed to recognise the best debaters in each division based on their performance throughout the main Debating SA season.

Over the course of the season, Piera participated in a total of five interschool competitions, facing-off against 46 different teams, each composed of approximately five to six students. In each debate, she exhibited exceptional and consistent debating skills and garnered the highest scores, ultimately securing the top position in the Year 5 division.
