Brooklyn Park Welcome Picnic

Our inaugural Brooklyn Park Campus Welcome Picnic held last night was an outstanding success! A gathering of over 300 people, made up of parents, children and staff filled the yard with picnic rugs, chairs and a whole lot of laughter! The evening featured a bouncy castle, face painting, freshly-popped popcorn, ice blocks, bubbles, giant board games, a coffee cart, lots of great conversations and new connections.

It was an amazing time of gospel community as we welcomed new families not just to a school, but to our Emmaus family, and as staff and parents partnered together to create an amazing space of joy, hope and belonging for all.

We extend a huge thank you to our Brooklyn Park parent community, both in the support received by our Parent Representatives and other parents who helped set up and run the various activities. Also coming out on a weeknight to make our Welcome Picnic such a rich time of community! It’s safe to say you’re bound to see the Brooklyn Park Welcome Picnic back on the calendar for 2025.
